Bridgeworks Consulting is recruiting a General Manager, Apparel Quality Assurance for an international outdoor apparel manufacturer. Based in Chattogram, the General Manager will lead quality across an assigned garment operation, with a strong focus on technical outerwear, customer standards and factory execution.
The role calls for someone who can set direction, work closely with production teams and resolve quality issues before they become customer claims.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the quality strategy, systems and team for the assigned operation.
- Strengthen controls from production through final inspection.
- Own customer quality communication, audit readiness and corrective action.
- Improve procedures and training so standards are applied consistently on the factory floor.
- Develop local quality leaders and work with production management to prevent recurring defects.
Critical requirements
- At least 10 years’ quality experience in apparel manufacturing, including leadership of factory quality teams.
- Direct experience in technical outerwear, such as waterproof jackets, down jackets or ski wear.
- Strong command of garment construction, quality systems, customer requirements and final inspections.
- Evidence of improving quality performance in a substantial manufacturing operation.
- Clear written and spoken English, sound judgement and a practical leadership style.
