Senior Talent Acquisition Manager

Senior Talent Acquisition Manager

An established international textile manufacturing group is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the development and transformation of its recruitment function in Bangladesh.

This is an opportunity to move beyond day-to-day recruitment delivery and build a more structured, proactive and commercially effective Talent Acquisition function within a large, operationally complex manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the HR Director, the successful candidate will play a central role in the organisation’s transition from a generalist HR structure to clearly defined specialist functions.

The challenge is not simply to introduce new recruitment processes.  It is to improve hiring effectiveness, build sustainable talent pipelines, and earn the confidence of operational leaders and established HR teams.

The Company

A major international manufacturing group with substantial operations in Bangladesh and a strong presence in the global apparel, textile and footwear supply chain.

Operating in a complex, labour-intensive manufacturing environment, the business is strengthening its HR capabilities to support operational performance and future talent requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop the Talent Acquisition function by establishing clear responsibilities, recruitment processes, governance, and service standards.
  • Review and improve existing recruitment practices, introducing practical changes that deliver measurable benefits.
  • Partner with senior management and operational leaders to translate workforce and capability requirements into effective recruitment strategies.
  • Lead recruitment for management, professional, technical and specialist positions.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies and sustainable talent pipelines for critical and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Strengthen direct sourcing, professional networks, referrals and recruitment partnerships across Bangladesh and internationally.
  • Introduce consistent, evidence-based selection and interviewing practices to improve hiring quality.
  • Establish meaningful recruitment KPIs covering hiring timelines, candidate quality, sourcing effectiveness and recruitment costs.
  • Lead change within the HR function, building support among factory HR teams, hiring managers and long-serving colleagues.
  • Provide management with practical market intelligence on talent availability, compensation and recruitment challenges.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Essential Requirements

  • Substantial Talent Acquisition experience, ideally within a large, operationally complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated success in building, restructuring or significantly improving a Talent Acquisition function.
  • Strong experience recruiting management, professional, technical and specialist talent.
  • Proven ability to move recruitment beyond reactive vacancy filling towards workforce planning and proactive talent pipelining.
  • Experience working directly with senior operational leaders and influencing recruitment decisions.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment systems, processes, performance metrics and reporting.
  • Demonstrated change-management capability, particularly in environments where established practices and stakeholder relationships require careful handling.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within apparel, textiles, footwear or other labour-intensive manufacturing industries.
  • Exposure to recruitment across multiple factories, business units or operational locations.
  • Experience sourcing specialist and senior talent internationally.

The Person

The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with a practical understanding of recruitment delivery.

They will be confident challenging established practices, but diplomatic enough to bring people through change rather than impose it.

This position requires someone who can build credibility with senior management, understand operational priorities and introduce improvements without unnecessary bureaucracy.

A proven ability to influence people and deliver meaningful change will be just as important as technical recruitment expertise.

For an experienced Talent Acquisition leader looking to shape and strengthen recruitment within a major international manufacturing organisation, this is a significant career opportunity.

Interested candidates are invited to apply by submitting an updated CV outlining their relevant Talent Acquisition leadership experience and examples of recruitment transformation or process improvement.
