A leading global textile and apparel industry manufacturer is seeking an experienced General Manager Apparel Manufacturing to take charge of its large-scale apparel manufacturing unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, production excellence, and continuous expansion at its state-of-the-art facility in Warangal, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operations, ensuring smooth plant functioning and production efficiency.
• Develop and execute strategies to enhance productivity, manpower management, and process optimization.
• Lead expansion projects, implementing new technologies and process reengineering.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards to meet buyer expectations.
• Drive cost efficiency initiatives, machine utilization, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain strong coordination across production, technical, and quality departments.
• Manage workforce planning and development, ensuring optimal employee engagement.
• Provide regular performance insights and strategic reports to senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years of leadership experience in a knits apparel sewing plant with at least 1000 machines.
• Degree in Textile/Apparel Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven track record in large-scale apparel operations, expansion projects, and process improvement.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with major global apparel manufacturers is highly preferred.
