A leading global apparel manufacturer seeks an experienced Sales & Operations Planning Manager (S&OP) to drive efficiencies in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management across an extensive supplier network and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in China.

The position requires a highly analytical and results-driven planner who can align sales forecasts, production capacity, and inventory strategies to ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced, competitive industry.

Some travel is required to manufacturing sites and supplier locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning – Align demand planning, sales forecasting and inventory optimisation
  • Production & Inventory Optimisation – Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance and cost efficiency.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting – analyse factory capacity utilisation, sales trends and market data to identify opportunities and risks.  Utilise ERP, CRM and BI platforms to automate and improve data reporting.
  • Process Improvements – Translate market demand into actionable production schedules and design solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination –Partner with Procurement, Logistics and Sales teams as well as suppliers to ensure alignment with forecasts and budgets.
  • Team Leadership – Mentor and manage a team of analysts/planners

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • 10+ years in S&OP, demand forecasting, and inventory management within garment manufacturing.
  • Strong ERP, Excel, and Power BI skills – data-driven mindset.
  • Fluent in English & Mandarin, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
