The company has 50 years of experience in Apparel manufacturing, providing solutions to high profile global brands.
Your role, as General Manager, Operations, will be to implement and drive operational excellence to support the operations strategy and capability build-up of the plant manufacturing intimate apparel. Overall management of manufacturing-related departments including Sampling, Technical, Production, HR, Facilities and Warehouse teams.
The focus is on the sustainability of processes, on-time delivery and availability of labour.
- Strengthen the relationship and collaboration between technical and operating partners
- Improve all aspects of product manufacturing to enhance competitiveness and core technical competencies of the management team
- Enhance Systems and Processes to sustainably fulfil customer orders
- Implement capability for moulded padded bras to support future product strategies
- Oversee the day to day production and drive the team to meet the loading plan and production targets
- Drive lean concepts and problem-solving
- Coach and mentor teams to achieve higher standards of performance
- Establish engagement with the workforce to keep a tab on the pulse of the organization
You will need:
- Strong commercial as well as manufacturing general management skills (managing overheads, planning, HR and administration)
- Experience in the manufacturing of intimate apparel
- History of implementing best practice
- The ability to speak Spanish would be an advantage but is not essential
