As the Senior Fabric Development Manager, you’ll take the lead on fabric innovation, material sourcing, and supplier partnerships in Vietnam.  You will guide a small, skilled team and collaborate globally to develop high-performance, sustainable fabrics that set new standards in quality, comfort, and function.  This opportunity is based in Ho Chi Minh City. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of fabric development and supplier management across Vietnam.
  • Develop and commercialise innovative, sustainable fabrics meeting global performance standards.
  • Provide expert technical input on fabric construction, testing, and performance optimisation.
  • Manage and mentor a team of fabric developers, fostering continuous learning and accountability.
  • Drive cost and value engineering initiatives to enhance material efficiency and product value.
  • Maintain a strategic supplier matrix based on capability, capacity, and innovation potential.
  • Collaborate closely with global design, R&D, and sourcing teams to ensure seamless material integration.
  • Balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Textiles, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in fabric development, sourcing, and material innovation.
  • Deep technical knowledge of woven and knit fabrics, including testing and costing.
  • Experience working within Vietnam’s textile supply base and knowledge of global trends.
  • Proven team leadership in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong command of English; Vietnamese is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLM systems.
  • Agile mindset with strong strategic, operational, and problem-solving skills.
