The Senior Garment Technologist will take the lead in process innovation in sampling, ensuring potential problems are minimised before bulk production

The company has three hi-tech factories in the Ningbo area, manufacturing activewear for export to major retail groups in the US, Europe and Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine the production and audit process for samples
- Assess risk in the early stage of sample development
- Assess the feasibility of bulk production, ensuring the process meets the customer’s requirements
- Work with the senior pattern maker to analyze and solve any problems at sample stage
- Be responsible for the accuracy of tech packs and size charts and handover of technical data to ensure quality and quantity can be guaranteed on time according to the bulk production plan
- Work with the production team to minimise and solve any technical and process problems in the production process
- Inspect and verify quality of production samples, providing comments and an improvement plan for bulk production
- Putting together training course and delivering training to the technical team
Qualifications and Experience Required
- At least five years’ relevant technical experience with an apparel company supplying the international market
- Skilled in garment construction
- Rich experience in sample production if sportswear or swimwear
- Familiar with sportswear or swimwear pattern, technical process standards and product cost composition
- Able to understand, read and write in English and Mandarin
