The Customer supplies the original concept designs and Tech Packs to the team of Product Developers, then the Graphic Designers work on the graphic design requirements through the development of each Customer’s range. The focus is on process, quality and customer relationships.
Responsibilities include liaison with the China factory, resolving issues and finding solutions. The work is done in Adobe Illustrator files from imported pdfs, to achieve clean crisp artwork for the factory. Some work may need you to layer and grade artwork for garment size ranges.
Essentially we are looking for a Senior Textile Graphic Designer with a combination of graphic skills, garment construction knowledge and interpersonal and leadership skills to fit in with a small team and relate effectively with staff and external Customers. You must have a real understanding of garment construction and patterns and be proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
