An expert Sportswear Pattern Maker is needed for the China-based product development team of a leading foreign-owned manufacturer of activewear and swimwear for the lifestyle and performance markets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create accurate paper patterns for sportswear, including bras, leggings, T-shirts, etc., based on customer drawings and technical information.
- Adjust patterns and processes to suit the material characteristics of high-stretch knitted fabrics, woven fabrics, and sports accessories.
- Ensure accurate fitting and appearance quality of samples, maintaining smooth lines, correct structure, and clear markings.
- Create a complete size chart and technical pack to ensure that the size samples meet the specifications
- Collaborate with the team to develop technical standards and resolve cost and quality issues in mass production.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in sportswear pattern making, including leggings, bras, T-shirts, etc.
- Proficiency in making master patterns
- In-depth understanding of garment construction, sportswear production processes and the quality requirements of high-end brands
- Familiarity with Gerber pattern-making software
