A global leader in textile and apparel manufacturing and supply chain management is seeking an experienced and highly capable Factory Manager to lead operations at its integrated Textile Mill in Senai, Johor, Malaysia. This critical leadership role will oversee all facets of production — particularly dyeing & finishing, knitting, and printing — ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely output.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all textile manufacturing operations: dyeing, knitting, finishing, and printing
- Provide expert technical guidance on dyeing & finishing; ensure recipe optimisation, colour accuracy, and sustainability
- Manage knitting and printing teams for design fidelity and production efficiency
- Drive operational excellence using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Uphold strict quality control and compliance with global standards (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ISO)
- Build and mentor a high-performing production workforce
- Manage machinery, materials, and manpower for maximum efficiency
- Control factory budget and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Troubleshoot production bottlenecks and quality issues proactively
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless supply chain and on-time delivery
- Deliver detailed reports on production performance to senior management
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- 8–10+ years in textile production management, including 3–5 years as Factory Manager or equivalent
- Hands-on expertise in dyeing & finishing is essential; solid knowledge of knitting and printing required
- Proven track record in leading large teams and achieving production KPIs
- Strong grasp of textile machinery, process optimisation, and quality systems
- Familiarity with lean tools like Six Sigma is a plus
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand manufacturing environment
