A leading international textile manufacturer is investing in a new synthetic textile facility in Karnataka and is seeking an experienced Dyeing & Finishing Manager to lead the establishment and long-term success of its dyeing operation.
This is a rare opportunity for a technically accomplished dyeing professional to take ownership of a greenfield operation, developing robust manufacturing processes from laboratory development through to stable bulk production. The role demands strong technical leadership, a disciplined engineering mindset and the ability to build a high-performing, data-driven manufacturing culture.
The successful candidate will work closely with international technical teams and play a key role in implementing modern manufacturing practices and process innovation.
The Opportunity
The Dyeing & Finishing Manager will be responsible for establishing, stabilising and continuously improving a synthetic textile dye house, ensuring world-class standards in quality, productivity and process control.
This position is ideally suited to someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, developing manufacturing capability and building high-performing operations from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning and stabilisation of a new synthetic dye house.
- Develop and optimise lab dip recipe formulation for bulk production.
- Manage step dyeing, bulk dyeing and stenter finishing operations.
- Integrate dye house processes with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Develop standard operating procedures and process control systems.
- Analyse production data to improve efficiency, consistency and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement using engineering principles and measurable performance indicators.
- Work closely with technical teams to introduce new manufacturing concepts and best practices.
- Develop a stable, disciplined and high-performing production environment.
Critical Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Extensive experience managing synthetic textile dyeing and finishing operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Lab dip recipe formulation
- Step dyeing
- Bulk dyeing
- Stenter finishing
- Experience integrating manufacturing operations with an MES environment.
- Proven success in commissioning, establishing or transforming a synthetic dye house.
- Strong analytical capability with a data-driven approach to manufacturing.
