Key Responsibilities:

Be the internal authority on fabrics, guiding fabric selection and development decisions.
Develop and implement strategies to optimise the sourcing network for fabrics, maximising efficiency and profitability.
Establish effective pricing strategies.
Lead cost-reduction initiatives to enhance profitability and business growth.
Guide the sourcing and development team in fabric selection, product development, and production processes.
Analyse customer feedback to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction.
Lead or participate in R&D activities to explore innovative fabric solutions and implement new technologies to optimise fabric sourcing and development.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Textiles or a related field.
Extensive experience in fabric sourcing and development.
Strong technical knowledge of fabric types, properties, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in relevant software applications for fabric sourcing and development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends.
Ability to adapt to changing market trends and business needs.
