Duties
- Ensure that new designs are developed in a timely manner, maintaining a production friendly garment designed within machine capabilities and all customer requirements are met
- Plan and balance production to ensure on-time delivery
- Prepare and implement Standard Operating Procedures
- Analyse and manage the workload, ensuring optimum use of manpower
- Oversee in-process quality control and continuous improvement
- Deal with client queries
- Oversee testing and inspection
- Troubleshoot any technical issues related to yarn and trims
- Establish a “right-first-time” culture
Skills and Experience Required
- Production and quality experience is essential with some additional experience in development preferred
- Experience with a technical, fully fashioned knitwear supplier (sportswear would be ideal)
- Relevant textile or garment related qualification
